Corrections policy

We correct errors quickly and transparently. When a published article contains a factual error, we fix it and add a dated correction note at the bottom of the article explaining what changed.

Small fixes to spelling or formatting that do not change meaning are made without a note. Profiles show the date they were last updated.

Results that were uncalled when we published are updated as official counts come in.
